Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.

Parafraim lets you brief an AI agent in natural language to generate, preview, refine, and render image-and-text videos. Generation and rendering occur in isolated sandbox environments. Features, limits, and availability may change as we improve the Service.

The Service is offered through a free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid plans and certain operations consume render credits, which are allocated according to your plan.

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider, Creem, and renew automatically until canceled.
• Credits and plan allowances are tied to your account, are not transferable, and unless stated otherwise do not carry over between billing periods.
• Prices may change; we will give notice of changes before they apply to your next billing period.
• You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• If a payment fails or your account is past due, we may suspend or limit access until the balance is resolved.

Our payment provider, Creem, acts as merchant of record for subscription purchases and may collect and remit any applicable taxes as part of your charges.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any law, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or facilitate illegal activity.
• Create or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, or that promotes violence.
• Generate deceptive content such as impersonation, fraud, disinformation, or material designed to mislead about its AI origin where prohibited.
• Upload malware, attempt to breach security, probe or disrupt the Service or its sandbox environments, or circumvent usage limits or credit metering.
• Reverse engineer the Service, resell or sublicense it without authorization, or use it to build a competing product.
• Access the Service through automated means except through our documented APIs and within their limits.

We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

You retain ownership of the prompts and materials you submit (“Input”) and, as between you and us, the videos and compositions generated for you (“Output”). You are responsible for your Input and Output and for ensuring you have the rights necessary to use them.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your Input and Output solely to operate, secure, and provide the Service to you. We do not use your private content to train foundation models.

Output is produced by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not unique to you; similar Output may be generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing Output before relying on or publishing it. We make no warranty that Output is fit for any particular purpose or free of third-party rights, and you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable law and platform requirements.

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Anthropic, Cloudflare, Neon, Creem, and Google. Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

The Service, including its software, design, and the Parafraim name and logo, is owned by the operator of Parafraim and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, we reserve all rights in the Service.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your content in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Parafraim and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of Parafraim from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your Input or Output, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Singapore will have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise. Nothing here deprives you of mandatory protections under the law of your country of residence.
